Democratic Party MP, Greta Bardeli Gjoni, reacted on Facebook, one year after the event of August 9, 2025, when "News24” faced a broadcast interruption.

Bardeli Gjoni states that the media did not bow down in the face of what he describes as violent pressure from Prime Minister Edi Rama, while praising journalists who continue to practice their profession.

"1 year / Media News 24 did not bow to the violent attack and pressure of the autocratic prime minister. Respect for every journalist who continues to do their job with courage," she writes.

At the end of her reaction, the MP emphasizes the importance of media freedom for society.

"Freedom of the media is the freedom of every citizen," says Greta Bardeli Gjoni.
