The 103rd day of protests against the government has begun, with citizens moving from Skanderbeg Square and now gathering in front of the Prime Minister's Office.
Protesters have arrived with national flags and banners, while chants against the government and Prime Minister Edi Rama can be heard from the crowd.
"Rama resigns" and "Albania seeks revolution" are among the chants heard during the protest.
Today's rally follows the protest of the previous day, which was accompanied by a new form of organization. The protesters left the Prime Minister's Office area and marched the previous day, among the protesters' calls being "Arrest Rama, arrest Balluku" towards some of Tirana's main intersections, where they temporarily blocked traffic.
A day earlier, among the protesters' calls were "Arrest Rama, arrest Balluk" and "Albania wants revolution."
Before the march began, activists and civil society representatives spoke from the podium in front of the Prime Minister's Office, calling for the continuation of civic action and the expansion of participation in the protest.
Environmentalist Sazan Guri called on protesters to put aside divisions.
"The cause is the most important, it brings us together, organizes us and makes us forget our fights," declared Guri.
Meanwhile, doctor Ermal Pashaj criticized the government and called for continued citizen reaction.
"We must provide solutions. A division has been introduced among us. It should not happen. We must react to the noose that the government is putting around our throats," said Pashaj. Today's protest marks the 103rd day of the action, while organizers have warned of the continuation and escalation of the protests.
