The Chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, is holding a meeting with the Department of Infrastructure.
During his speech, Berisha leveled strong accusations against the government of Prime Minister Edi Rama, linking the economic situation in the country to, according to him, a high level of corruption and mismanagement of public funds. He also mentioned the names of Belinda Balluku and Ergys Agasti, whom he described as being involved in corruption affairs with Prime Minister Rama, while emphasizing that the opposition will prepare a detailed program to provide solutions to the problems created, according to him, during the last 12 years of governance.
"Tonight, together, we open the feature of a broad, intensive discussion of our program, with which we must provide the most complete response to the major problems that Albania faces today."
Problems created by the highest level of corruption imaginable, from 100% theft of funds such as the Tirana incinerator, to 90% theft of other public works, from the ruin of Albanian families due to the huge increase in prices and almost no increase in salaries and pensions anywhere in relation to prices, which has caused 49% of Albanians to be in poverty or at risk of poverty.
Services in this country have undergone a devastating metamorphosis in terms of the order and quality they should have.
So, the problem is very deep.
Meanwhile, the mandate that the head of the criminal organization, Edi Rama, calls himself, is the mandate of crime.
I'm not saying this to give him an epithet, but I'm saying this because this mandate has zero legitimacy.
So, Edi Rama, with his electoral farce, has not had a single legitimate day in power.
But, another factor now, which the opposition has denounced every day, but also the media, we must be realistic, another factor has become a factor of fame not only in Albania, but also in the world, is the corruption factor, in which the Prime Minister himself, once named Belinda Balluku, another time named Ergys Agasi, is the protagonist of the biggest corruption affairs.
And besides, his reaction, a typical reaction of a thief who is capable of making any decision and action to save his skin, was to close the doors to the investigation and the justice system.
The man who is in a paranoia of ignorance, because he is an ignorant person washed away by concepts, because I guarantee you and the Albanians that there has never been a more ignorant and washed away by concepts official in that position than him. Never!
"Follow the dictionary, in its dictionary you cannot find a single word of the government that governs. You only find the language of a street urchin, who for the sake of truth with his stance on corruption, loses all legitimacy, even if the May 11 elections had been elections of the best world standards," he said.
The chief democrat also highlighted the fact that despite the investments made in 12 years, which according to him amount to 12 billion euros, few jobs are sustainable.
"The opposition and the DP should prepare in the most serious way for the problems created by a 12-year regime. We started this debate and preparation of the program with infrastructure. Over 12 billion euros have been invested in infrastructure and public works in 12 years. If you look at what you have, apart from the stone slabs in Skanderbeg Square that make you want to roast coffee in July, the infrastructure and the Urban Renaissance are the most flagrant evidence of waste, absolute theft that has never happened before," he said.
