The Lezha Blues have arrested a 21-year-old man and have announced a search for his accomplice, after they robbed 12 entities of their daily turnover during May and June of this year.
The arrest of the young man was carried out after complaints from citizens affected by this illegal activity of the two young men.
Lezhë/The operation codenamed "Llogaritë" is being finalized, to bring to justice the perpetrators of a series of thefts in the city over the past few months.
They stole the daily turnover of 12 subjects, the 21-year-old was arrested and efforts are underway to capture his accomplice.
As a result of investigative actions carried out immediately after reports from several citizens that during the months of May and June 2026, daily revenues from entities they administered in the city of Lezha had been stolen, the services of the Lezha Police Commissariat finalized the operation codenamed "Accounts".
As part of the operation, citizen MM, 21 years old, resident of Lezha, was arrested, and a 26-year-old EU citizen was declared wanted.
Investigations suspect that the 2 citizens collaborated to steal daily revenues from 12 entities.
"Work is underway to capture the 26-year-old, as well as to uncover other thefts that these citizens may have committed," the police statement said.
