From the protest in front of the Prime Minister's Office, a citizen has made strong accusations against the Rama government and the way it handled the protest the day before. He criticized the large number of police forces deployed around the Parliament and the arrests of protesters.
"We saw civilian police yesterday robbing citizens just because they had eggs in their hands. 1600 police forces were protecting an expired parliament, whose most dangerous weapons were eggs and voices. They were protecting our problems that we all have, and the police together. The protesters were beaten, but this should not demoralize us. Victory is the breaking of the myth in which they live," he said.
The citizen raised questions about the legitimacy of the Assembly and said that the very presence of such a large number of police officers constitutes, according to him, an important indicator of the strength of the protest.
"Don't you think, is this Assembly that is protected by 1600 police forces legitimate? This is the achievement of our protest. These days have shown us what we are capable of doing. They change parties and slogans, but one thing they change is their appetite for money. In the Assembly they did everything else that did not represent us and we complained about the coffee. That's where we are today," he added.
Next, he focused on the consequences that, according to him, years of governance and corruption have brought to the country, linking the situation to the emigration of Albanians.
"After 13 years, we have seen a country emptying out. Is there anything more painful than when, after every corruption, there is a child who grows up without a parent around?" he said.
