Two vacationers have been rescued from drowning at sea on Velipoja beach, thanks to the immediate intervention of Border Police services.
The incident was discovered during intensive monitoring of coastal areas by the services of the Shkodra Local Directorate for Border and Migration, which patrol with drones and floating vehicles to guarantee the safety of vacationers.
During the monitoring, the Police officers found two citizens who were in danger of drowning at sea. The Border Police Services immediately intervened with Jet Skis, enabling them to be brought to safety.
The survivors have been identified as MP, 67 years old, a resident of Burrel, and ZN, 41 years old, a resident of Velipojë.

Border Police services continue to monitor the coastline intensively and are on full alert, at all times, to assist vacationers and guarantee their safety.
