Today marks 15 years since "January 21st" when four people were killed following the violent protest that took place on January 21, 2011.

In an interview on the show "Oponencje" on News24Fatos Klosi, former head of SHISH, spoke about this event, saying that there were attempts by the perpetrators to eliminate evidence.

"There is an attempt by the guilty to eliminate evidence. Evidence is being sought to be taken to the prosecution. But they had that evidence in their hands and in two years everything possible has been done and today none of the television studios can be found for the statements that Berisha made about the tents... It is not found. The server was deleted, the Garda was kept inside for 3 days. Do you remember what authority Berisha had. Why didn't he intervene if the Garda was guilty?", he said.

He also emphasized that he was present and participated in those protests.

"I was in front of the Prime Minister's Office. The police provoked, the cannons were fired before the protest had even started. The tear gas was used to disperse them and we felt bad. The police fence was never crossed. Then another provocation occurred, the police fled, they went inside the fence... A situation that created the idea of 'heyden'. I am convinced and have the opinion 'it was expected that it would be treated as a provocation and that what happened would happen'. There have been endless protests in Albania, but this protest was much different. Knowing that the protest could be violent, he found the opportunity to show that he ensured security in that country, even by killing," he said.
