Today marks 27 years since the Battle of Koshare, one of the most important confrontations of the Kosovo Liberation Army during the war for freedom.
On April 9, 1999, KLA fighters, led by the 138th Brigade "Agim Ramadani", managed to breach the border between Kosovo and Albania, opening the way for the supply of weapons and logistical support.
This battle, which lasted until June 10, 1999, took place in difficult conditions, but with extraordinary determination from the Albanian fighters.
Breaking the border not only had strategic but also symbolic importance, marking a major step towards the liberation of Kosovo.
