Tirana Police have finalized the operation codenamed “Flats”, during which three apartments were discovered where prostitution was allegedly practiced by foreign nationals. According to the authorities, the activity took place in two apartments on Elbasani Street and another on “Vangjush Furxhi” Street. As a result of the operation, three foreign nationals were arrested, while two other citizens were prosecuted for the crime of “Prostitution”.
Chinese nationals KS, 39 years old, and WG, 42 years old, who are suspected of having rented two apartments on Elbasani Street for the purpose of carrying out this activity, were arrested. Vietnamese national T. (NL) V., 43 years old, was also arrested, suspected of having rented an apartment on “Vangjush Furxhi” Street for the same purpose.
During the searches, two mobile phones were also seized, containing communications related to the suspected activity.

3 Chinese and Vietnamese citizens are arrested. 2 citizens are prosecuted for the crime of "Prostitution".
2 cell phones with communications about this activity were seized.
As a result of operational and investigative work, with the objective of ascertaining cases of making rented premises available for the practice of prostitution, specialists of the Trafficking Investigation Section finalized the operation codenamed "Flats", during which 3 more cases of this activity were detected. The following were arrested for the cases:
-Chinese nationals, KS, 39 years old, and WG, 42 years old, as it is suspected that each had rented an apartment on Elbasani Street to practice prostitution;
-Vietnamese citizen, T. (NL) V., 43 years old, after allegedly renting an apartment on "Vangjush Furxhi" street, for the same purpose.
Following the actions related to these cases, proceedings were initiated against 2 citizens for the criminal offense of "Prostitution".
The procedural materials were referred to the Tirana Prosecutor's Office for further action.
