The services of the Korça Local Directorate of Border and Migration have intensified controls at crossing points and the green border, with the aim of preventing and combating cross-border crimes and apprehending wanted citizens.

As part of the in-depth checks and interviews at the Kapshtica BCP, citizen PN, 36 years old, resident of Elbasan, was detained at the entrance to Albania.

Against whom, the Durrës Court has imposed the security measure "Arrest in prison", for the criminal offenses "False testimony" and "Bringing prohibited items into the Penitentiary Institution", who was crossing the border in violation of the law.

Further procedural actions were carried out by the Elbasan DVP.
