Two people have been charged with pentito regarding the cocaine file found in Frakull.

Journalist Klodiana Lala reports that according to sources, the two people who have decided to cooperate with justice are previously convicted persons, while one of them is an Albanian citizen and the other is a foreigner.

They are expected to provide detailed evidence on the suspected criminal activity and the network of people involved.
Investigators are verifying their statements, and it is expected that the complete "dismantling" of the group will lead to the identification and prosecution of other individuals involved in this network.

The Prosecution Office Against Corruption and Organized Crime announced on December 8, 2023 the closure of the investigations and the sending for trial of the case against the former socialist mayor of the former Frakull commune in Fier, Viktor Çervanaku, and 10 other people, accused of trafficking 485.5 kg of cocaine mixed with chemical fertilizer from Colombia.
The drugs were discovered on November 24, 2022 in Viktor Cervanak's apartment, which had been turned into a cocaine laboratory.

SPAK reveals that if cocaine were released on the market, it would bring a profit of 40 million euros. The drug entered Albania mixed with artificial "organic fertilizer".

The cocaine was transported from Colombia via the Port of Piraeus, Greece, towards the Port of Bar, Montenegro. The cargo was then imported into Albania by land on September 19, 2022.
