For 41 days, the residents of Divjaka have been protesting against the proposed changes to the municipality's status. On Wednesday evening, a small group of protesters gathered in the square in front of the municipality, repeating the call: "Divjaka municipality!"
Despite the fact that the number of protesters has been significantly reduced, the residents who continue to remain in the square express their determination not to give up on their demand. They claim that during these days they have faced pressure and attempts to quell the protest.
According to the protesters, the pressures have come from both local and central government, while they consider the situation as an attempt to silence them.
There were no speeches at the evening protest. After standing in the square, the residents continued with a march through the city streets, demanding that Divjaka continue as mayor.
