The codenamed "Alias" operation is finalized.

A 42-year-old man has been arrested after an unlicensed firearm and a quantity of cocaine were found during a search of the hotel where he was staying.

The procedural materials were then referred to the Lezha Prosecutor's Office for further action.

The codenamed "Alias" operation is finalized.

The 42-year-old was arrested on the premises of the hotel where he was staying, in Mamurras, for carrying a firearm (pistol) without a permit.

During the physical search, a quantity of cocaine was found on him.

A firearm with a magazine and cartridges were seized, as well as a quantity of cocaine and 2 cell phones.

Following the operations conducted based on operational work and controls, to identify and detain citizens who violate the security of citizens by carrying firearms without a permit, the services of the Kurbin Police Commissariat finalized the operation codenamed "Alias".

During the operation, citizen AK alias A. Ll., 42 years old, resident of Mamurras, was arrested in flagrante delicto.

In Mamurras, during a search of the hotel where the 42-year-old was staying, a firearm (pistol) with a magazine and cartridges was found, while during a physical search, a quantity of suspected cocaine was found on this citizen.

The procedural materials were referred to the Lezha Prosecutor's Office for further action.
