Democratic Party MP Enno Bozdo has reacted to the death of a 32-year-old electrician in Belsh, raising concerns about the safety of employees working with the electrical grid. Through a post, Bozdo states that every electrician who climbs a pole should return safely to his family.
According to the DP MP, at least 5 electricians have lost their lives in Albania in the last three months in accidents related to electricity. He lists the cases in Mirdita, Himara, Pogradec, Vau i Dejes and Tropoja, where according to him one worker lost his life and three others were injured. Bozdo claims that these events should not be considered simply as accidents, but as a consequence of the state of the electrical network and the lack of safety standards at work.
He asked Minister Karakaçi to provide explanations regarding the number of victims and responsibilities for the safety of energy sector employees.
BOZDO'S REACTION
🕳 Today, another 32-year-old electrician lost his life in Belsh, in the line of duty!
How many more electricians must lose their lives due to the desperate technical condition of depreciated electrical lines?
🙏 Every electrician who climbs a pole must return home to his family.
In the last three months alone, at least 5 electricians have lost their lives in Albania in electricity-related accidents:
📍 Mirdita – 1 victim
📍 Himara – 1 OSSH electrician
📍 Pogradec – 1 electrician
📍 Vau i Dejës – 1 electrician
📍 Tropoja – 1 employee, while 3 others were injured.
These are not accidents, but rather the result of a highly depreciated network and the lack of minimum safety standards at work.
The government has invested billions in its propaganda for the 3D "transformation" of the energy sector, but continues to allow energy workers to work in medieval conditions.
Minister Karakaçi must explain:
🚩 How many of these deaths were preventable and
🚩 Who is responsible for the safety of people who work with the electrical network every day?
🚩 Will those responsible for these tragedies be held accountable?
The mirror is the truth, while the propaganda of "loyalty" is Edi Rama's most stale invention!
