A serious road accident was recorded in the early hours of the morning on the Durrës-Tirana highway, involving five vehicles. As a result of the collision, a 45-year-old man lost his life at the scene.
According to preliminary information from the Police, at around 05:20, the citizen with the initials HB, 45 years old, collided with a truck. The collision resulted fatal for the 45-year-old, who died at the scene.
After the first collision, three other vehicles were also involved in the accident, with drivers GL, 59 years old, and JI, 34 years old, as well as five passengers. All persons involved in this part of the accident are out of danger.
Meanwhile, citizen AV, who is suspected of being the driver of one of the vehicles involved in the accident, has left the scene. She has been accompanied by the Police to provide explanations and clarify the circumstances of the incident.
The investigation team and the Police services are at the scene, carrying out the necessary investigative actions to fully document the accident.
Investigators are working to determine the dynamics of the collision and the causes that led to the tragic accident, while work continues to fully elucidate the circumstances.
