The harsh reactions to the statement of the Serbian minister, Snezhana Paunovic, who spoke out for the ethnic cleansing of Kosovo in 1998, have been at the center of the speeches on the 47th day of the revolt in front of the Prime Minister's Office. Activist Ilir Xhemalaj gave a strong speech on the boulevard, where he harshly attacked the position of the Albanian government and called for immediate diplomatic measures.

Xhemalaj made serious accusations against Prime Minister Edi Rama for a lack of a quick and official response, while also denouncing the support that the Serbian minister received from other officials in Belgrade.

The activist stated that Ivica Dacic's open support for the declaration of ethnic cleansing of Albanians is unacceptable and demonstrates the need for a strong national response.

"It's been 72 hours and we have no reaction from the Albanian government to the Serbian minister who spoke about ethnic cleansing against Albanians. Ivica Dacic, Rama's brother, said that the minister was right. No sir, we are indigenous there!" declared an outraged Xhemalaj on the podium.

Further, activist Ilir Xhemalaj warned that the civic movement and the Albanian people will no longer accept concessions of any nature that violate national sovereignty or dignity, reiterating the call for the Serbian minister to be declared "persona non grata".

"A new chapter has opened for Albania, of an Albania that does not bow, does not forgive, no longer gives sea or land to anyone! We demand once again its declaration as non grata," the activist concluded his speech amid the numerous applause of citizens on the Boulevard.
