MP Ina Zhupa, during her speech in the Assembly, stated that cultural heritage is not the property of the government, while emphasizing that no one is against construction, but the law must be respected and not by building.
"As for the votes of Albania and the people of Vlora, we know very well how you got them. But even if you had honestly received those 86 mandates, they are not a license to kill... Run away because you are afraid to face up to them... Desert the way you deserted the call to be a soldier where you received your passport, desert the Parliament as well. You are the ones who drive trucks and surround it with barbed wire. Your government made the police stand silent and afraid of gangs. Those 4 billion that you say you have stolen only with the help of AKSHI. We have talked since you granted the concession for Butrint, since you granted the concession for the protected areas. Do we want investments? Yes, wherever the law allows, but to destroy the cultural heritage of the Albanians because it is not the property of this government," she said.
