The evening of December 6th brought the magic of the end-of-year holidays to the city of Korça.

In a ceremony full of emotion and color, the city lit up its festive decorations, marking the official start of the most beloved season of the year.

The main square was filled with citizens and visitors, who enthusiastically awaited the countdown and the moment when colorful lights illuminated the entire city, creating the first atmosphere of the celebrations that will accompany Korça throughout December.

In his speech, the mayor emphasized that Korça is now fully booked for all the holidays, while a rich calendar of activities and a highly competitive tourist offer has been prepared until New Year's Eve. According to him, the city will continue to remain a strong point of winter tourism in the country.

The evening of the lights switching on was accompanied by a festive concert that added even more warmth to the atmosphere.

The high participation of citizens was an indication that Korça remains one of the most sought-after destinations for the end-of-year holidays this year.

Meanwhile, in Lushnja, where the New Year tree was placed, hundreds of children and citizens gathered to participate in the lighting ceremony.

The festive atmosphere was accompanied by music and activities for children in Durrës as well, marking the official start of the holiday season in the city.

The main square was filled with citizens of all ages, who experienced the beginning of the magic of the holidays amidst music, colorful decorations, and shared joy.

Even in Durrës, Shijak, Elbasan, Fier and Shkodër, the lights were turned on to the rhythm of festive music and songs performed by children.
