Journalist Anduena Llabani spoke about the latest developments regarding the seizure of the assets of Ergys Agasi and the former director of AKSHI, Mirlinda Karçanaj.

Invited to the show "This Week" in News24, Llabani stated that Karçanaj's resignation and her move to a rented apartment in the center of Tirana have raised suspicions and put SPAK in motion.

According to her, the investigations have begun with verifications of documentation on the assets, properties and bank accounts of the former official. A key element that has attracted the attention of investigators is related to a file on a cocaine trafficking group in Vlora, where, according to the journalist, Karçanaj's name is also mentioned.

Llabani stressed that one of the suspected points of connection is the purchase of a property from the persons investigated in this case. "It is a house worth around 600 thousand euros, of which a part, around 100 thousand euros, is unpaid to these persons," she said.

According to the journalist, these circumstances have led SPAK to deepen its investigations, where it is suspected that through the use of third parties (prestano me), numerous real estate purchases have been made on behalf of close family members.
