Vlora Police have finalized the operation codenamed "Group", targeting a criminal group with high social risk that was suspected of operating in the field of crimes against the person and drug trafficking.
As a result of the operation, 6 citizens were arrested, including 2 nationally wanted persons and 1 internationally wanted citizen. The latter was sentenced in Italy to 6 years and 8 months in prison for "drug trafficking" and "participation in a criminal organization".
The operation took place in a bar in the village of Vranisht, where, according to the police, members of the group were located and arrested, including the suspected perpetrator of a gunshot wound that occurred two days ago in Vlora.
The arrested are suspected of the criminal offenses of "Intentional serious injury", "Unauthorized possession of weapons and ammunition", "Supporting the perpetrator of the crime" and "Production and sale of narcotics". As part of the operation codenamed "Group", the following citizens were arrested: Florian Shala alias Florian Alliaj; Neritan Dalipaj alias Neritan Qejvanaj; Aleksandër Dula alias Aleksandër Thomai alias Ilir Dula; Miço Beqaraj; Turi Aligjoni and Dritan Çelaj.

6 citizens are arrested, of whom 2 are wanted nationally and 1 is wanted internationally.
4 firearms, pistols, combat ammunition, 3 vehicles, one of them armored, cell phones and a large amount of money were seized.
Following intensive actions to crack down on criminal activities and capture high-risk individuals, based on information obtained in the operational route that some citizens were moving armed and with armored vehicles, and among them was the perpetrator of the intentional serious injury, which occurred on 07.06.2026, specialists from the Serious Crimes Investigation Sector and the Crimes Against the Person Investigation Sector, at the Vlora Local Police Directorate, in cooperation with the National Security Force, Fier Unit, and under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Vlora, finalized the police operation codenamed "Group".
As a result, in a bar in the village of Vranisht, during the operation, a high-risk criminal group operating in the cities of Vlora and Fier was hit. Also, citizens F. Sh.(A.), 52 years old, ND(Q.), 50 years old, MB, 35 years old and AD alias A. Th. alias ID, 51 years old, the latter declared internationally wanted by Italy, after the Lecce Court of Appeal, Italy, in 2024, sentenced him to 6 years and 8 months in prison, for the criminal offenses of “Trafficking in narcotics” and “Participation in a criminal organization”, with the aim of trafficking in narcotics.
Also, during the operation in this same bar, at the same table, citizens TA, 55 years old (suspected perpetrator of the injury that occurred on 07.06.2026) and D. Ç., 48 years old, declared nationally wanted, suspected of the criminal offenses "Intentional serious injury", "Unauthorized possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition", "Supporting the perpetrator of the crime" and "Production and sale of narcotics" were arrested.
During the operation, 4 firearms, pistols of the brands "Glock", "Sig Sauer" and "Canik", combat ammunition, 7 mobile phones, 1850 euros and 3 vehicles (2 of them with foreign license plates and one of them, armored) were seized.
The investigations revealed that one of the seized vehicles, a "BMW X5", was used by citizen TA to flee the scene of the incident, after the gunshot wound to citizen FL, 26 years old, an event that occurred on 07.06.2026, in Vlora.
In cooperation with the Prosecutor's Office, work continues to uncover and legally document the criminal activity of this group.
The procedural materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Vlora, for further action.
