A house has been engulfed in flames in the village of Gurishte-Shilbater, Tregan Administrative Unit, almost completely burning down. The house belongs to citizen Arif Paeshti.
According to preliminary information, the fire is suspected to have been caused by an electrical spark, while the rapid spread of the flames was also favored by strong winds.
Immediately after the notification, firefighting vehicles from the Elbasan Municipality were dispatched to the scene to bring the situation under control and avoid the risk of the fire spreading to surrounding homes.
As a result of the fire, four family members were left in the open, at a time when temperatures in the area are quite low and reaching negative values.
Fortunately, so far there have been no reports of injuries, while the material damage is considerable. Authorities are working to fully clarify the circumstances of the incident.
