Lawyer Erald Aga was invited today to "Time to Wake Up" on News24, where he spoke about the problems in the justice system.

He stated that we need a new justice reform that will reduce the time needed to review cases, which currently takes 10 years or more.

"Citizens are unable to find a solution, whether administratively with ASHK, Hipoteke or ATP. Citizens wanted a new justice system, when 4-5 years ago issues were resolved up to the Supreme Court, the collapse that brought justice reforms also led to the murder of judge Astrit Kalaja as citizens are frustrated by the delays.

Previously, citizens would receive solutions through administrative channels, now there is a tendency, an unwritten order, that through administrative channels, no administration employee can provide citizens with solutions for property issues.
A jury renders 123-140 decisions a day. How can there be justice like that?
"We need a new justice reform so that trials no longer take so long," he said.
