Police in Patras have arrested a suspect for attempted murder and unlawful possession of a weapon under aggravated circumstances, in connection with a firearm incident that occurred on April 7 in the Soul area.

According to authorities, the arrested person was wanted and presented himself to the police yesterday morning, before being accompanied to the prosecutor of the First Instance Court of Achaia.

For the same incident, another person was arrested earlier, while investigations continue to identify and capture a 30-year-old Albanian man, who is considered the main suspect.

event It happened on April 7, 2026, when a 22-year-old man was shot in the leg. According to witnesses, he and a friend had gone to Seoul for a meeting to resolve a conflict.

But at the scene they were confronted by a group of about 10 people and, after a verbal argument, two of them pulled out their weapons and opened fire, leaving the young man injured.

From the investigations and evidence collected, the police have managed to identify three people involved in the attack, two of whom have already been arrested, while the search continues for the third person.
