A road accident resulting in the injury of a minor occurred on the Saranda-Delvinë road, near the village of Karahaxh.
A "Golf" type vehicle, driven by a 16-year-old identified with the initials DC, went off the road and ended up in the canal. It was the passers-by who immediately notified the blue uniforms and the ambulance after coming into contact with the serious scene.
The minor was urgently transported to the Saranda hospital, where after medical examinations it was determined that he suffered a broken leg and several other minor injuries to the body. Due to the need for more specialized treatment, his transportation to the Trauma Hospital in Tirana is expected.
Before the Blues, the 16-year-old driver gave preliminary testimony on the dynamics of the event, stating that he suspects that his vehicle collided with another car before losing control, however, he added that he does not have a clear memory due to the shock.
An investigation team is at the scene, working to fully uncover the causes of this accident.
