Negotiations between Lebanon and Israel will begin next Tuesday at the US State Department, the office of Lebanese President Joseph Aoun said.
The date of the meeting was set tonight during a phone call between the Lebanese Ambassador to the US, Nada Hamadeh Mouawad, the Israeli Ambassador to the US, Yehiel Leiter, and the US Ambassador to Lebanon, Michael Issa.
The US is reportedly mediating between the two neighbors following recent attacks by Israel on Lebanon.
