Norway's Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced today that the country's ambassador to Jordan and Iraq, Mona Jull, is resigning due to published documents and connections that have resulted in the Jeffrey Epstein dossier.

"Mona Jul's contact with convicted sex offender Epstein showed a serious deficiency in judgment. The case makes it difficult to restore the trust that this role requires," Norwegian Foreign Minister Espen Bart Ejde said in a statement, Reuters reports.

The Norwegian ministry this week suspended Jul from her position as ambassador to Jordan and Iraq pending an internal investigation into her ties to Epstein, revealed in a series of documents released by the US Department of Justice.
