In the midst of that personal storm, the family was torn apart in the most traumatic way. In a heartfelt confession, the 57-year-old confessed today for the show 'With an Open Heart' on News24, of moderator and author Evis Ahmeti, revealed that his wife had left and abandoned him, leaving their minor son with him. He said that for 1 month she was not interested, while when the 57-year-old had emigrated to Italy, the wife had brought people from her family and they had taken their son. Today the father appeals for help, while seeking to meet the son.

"The boy's mother and I met through an arranged marriage. We knew each other very little. It was a mistake on both sides, let's call it that. My mother was alive, but my father had died. We were happy when the boy arrived. We had arguments between us, as it was her weakness... She left and left the boy with me for 1 month. I lived with my mother. She was a little interested. The boy was looking for his mother, I told him; he will come. Then her brother and sister came and took the boy. I had fled to Italy. There was an informant. When I left home, they went and took him from my mother. When I found out that they had taken the boy, I made several attempts. But one of our lawyers told me; the boy is fine. Leave that business! In 2016 the boy asked for me, but I was out. Now I want to meet him," said the father.
