The publication of the audio recordings of former Deputy Prime Minister Arben Ahmetaj constitutes a "bomb" with an effect on the government dome.

Invited to the show "Minuta e Parë" on News24, journalist Klodiana Lala raised strong suspicions that intelligence services of European partner countries are behind the recordings, while asking the judiciary to urgently investigate arms trafficking and the misuse of state institutions.

According to the journalist, the recordings contain hours of wiretaps that shed light on the behind-the-scenes activities of Israeli Roni Yeffet, known as a personal friend of Prime Minister Edi Rama. The materials document how Albanian territory was used for the packaging and transit of weapons from abroad, creating the impression that "Albania was up for sale."

Lala pointed out that Yeffe's influence on state structures was so great that he behaved like a "defense minister."

At the center of this activity is the cooperation between the state-owned arms production company "KAYO" and the private entity "Timak Defense".

The state-owned company "KAYO" is suspected of serving private interests and the arms business, facilitating military logistics operations on behalf of third parties.

The journalist emphasized that the time has come for SPAK to rise to the occasion and investigate these audio recordings, as the evidence brings to light another serious scandal at the highest state level.

"Ahmetaj's wiretaps were a bombshell. I think that powerful services of European partner countries are behind them. There is talk of contacts in the prime minister's anteroom, that Albania was up for sale and that the country was being used for packaging weapons from abroad. I think the time has come for the justice institutions to rise to the right level and investigate the wiretaps. In what has been discussed after the publications, it turns out that it is about hours of wiretaps of the Israeli Ron Yeffet, a personal friend of the prime minister. It is the company Timak Defense, KAYO is a state-owned company. Ron Yeffet went so far as to consider himself the minister of defense," Lala said, among other things.
