The Nations League draw in League C has placed Albania in a group with Finland, Belarus and San Marino. In general opinion, the Finns have the team that the Rossoneri should be wary of to avoid any surprises in an edition where the objective is clearly to win the group and return to League B.
The Finns have today announced the list of invited players and there are quite a few well-known names in the international arena. Coach Jakob Fris has gathered 25 players, with some important changes in the team. Kaan Kairinen and Glen Kamara return to the midfield after a long absence, as do names like Bergstrom, Lahtenmaki and Stahl who had been injured for a long time. The list includes only one debutant, striker Adrien Svanbak of Haken.
Of course, there are some well-known names on the list, such as Monaco goalkeeper Lukas Hradecki, or striker Joel Pohjanpalo, who has played for teams like Bayer Leverkusen, Hamburg, Union Berlin, Venice and most recently Palermo during his career.
