An elderly woman from the US has joined the protest in Tirana, expressing disappointment about the situation in Albania and the lack of opportunities for young people.
She indicated that protests take place in Washington every Saturday in front of the embassy and said that Albania should not be in its current state.
"Every Saturday, Washington holds a weekly protest in front of the embassy. Albania should not be like this. Albania does not deserve to be like this," she said.
The elderly woman also told the story of her son, who had finished school in the US and had returned to Albania in the hope of finding work, but had failed to find employment opportunities.
"My son was educated there, came here for work, but couldn't find one. He returned to the US and it's very good there. Why should I leave? I worked there for 40 years," she said.
