The speeches given by young people, activists and citizens from the podium in front of the Prime Minister's Office building have concluded, while the 74th consecutive protest against Prime Minister Edi Rama and his cabinet has entered its next phase.

After strong messages conveyed by the younger generation regarding the immigration crisis, the lack of meritocracy and the policies of the executive branch, the gathered crowd has left the space in front of the government building. Together with representatives of civil society and numerous citizens, the protesters have started the march along the “Martyrs of the Nation” boulevard, from where they will continue their movement towards the main streets of the capital.

Along the march route, the boulevards and main axes of Tirana have been filled with powerful choruses of protesters. With repeated chants of “Rama resigns!”, “Albania demands revolution!” and “Down with dictatorship!”, citizens are marching non-stop, temporarily paralyzing vehicle traffic.
