An Albanian living in Italy, a participant in the 76th protest in Tirana, described the rally as an important moment of awareness for Albanians at home and abroad.

"The protest is magnificent. We, as Albanians, are becoming aware for the first time. Each of us agrees, as every institution has been destroyed by this political class. The posts have been filled with unprepared people, where the goal is extortion," he said.

According to him, responsibility for the created situation is attributed to the government and Prime Minister Edi Rama.

"This criminal group that calls itself Rilindja has caused all this crime. Rama says he has a contract with the Albanian people, but he has not signed this contract with us. He has no legitimacy in terms of the power he has," said the protester.

He also accused the public administration of being used to maintain power, while also criticizing the opposition.

"Rama has no personal power. He is a person who is held by public administration employees, who are selling dignity and destroying our country for a job. If we do not react, this protest will not have the desired outcome. We must overthrow him. It is not only Rama, but also his crutch, Sali Berisha," he declared.

In the end, the Albanian from Italy called for the continuation of the protests.

"They have forced hundreds of Albanians to leave the country. I want and hope that this protest will continue. Rama must resign. He must be thrown out. We will move forward and we must not give up," he said.
