American strategic advisor Mark Finlay, invited to News24 declared that Albanians love freedom and that they deserve everything, because they are a people who want to work.

Finlay emphasized that citizens want to change the quality of their lives. He expressed confidence that change will come.

"Albanians have a great desire for change and people would be angry if there was no cohesion and progress, as time goes by. People want to bring about change. This protest is fundamentally related to the desire for change. The protest is clearly against the government. Citizens want to build their lives here. Especially the youth have many problems and want a much better future.

We need to pass the chapters on integration, which is not an easy task and is something that is not in the hands of one person, but everyone has it in their hands, by making the necessary contribution. Citizens want improvement and do not want to hear only about corruption. Albania is a country where people should stay in their homeland. But I believe that change will happen, because I have seen the will for change", declared Mark Finlay, American strategic advisor.
