The 72nd consecutive protest by citizens in Tirana against Prime Minister Edi Rama and his government cabinet has begun today, continuing the resistance on the streets of the capital.

Participants initially gathered at "Skënderbej" Square, from where they began the march towards the Prime Minister's Office building, the place where the main rally with the protesters' speeches is being held.

Protest participants raised concerns about the economic situation, healthcare and the level of corruption in the country. In a statement to the television News24, one of the citizens stated:

"We protest against corruption, against dictatorship. We want justice. We are concerned about health, corruption, people can no longer move forward like this."
