The Vetevendosje Movement has proposed appointing Albin Kurti as the mandate holder for the formation of the Kosovo Government.

This political entity has submitted the proposal to the country's president, Vjosa Osmani.

"I am honored to, in my capacity as Chair of the General Council of the VETËVENDOSJE! Movement, submit to the President of the Republic of Kosovo the proposal for the appointment of Mr. Albin Kurti as Mandate for the formation of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo," wrote the Chair of the General Council of the Vetëvendosje Movement, Arbërie Nagavci, in the publication of the official document on Facebook.

Another session is expected to be held today, the one on the formation of the Government. The time when the session will begin has not yet been announced.

The Kosovo Assembly is considered constituted after the election of Albulena Haxhiu as speaker of the tenth legislature and the voting of five deputy speakers: Ardian Gola from LVV, Vlora Çitaku from PDK, Kujtim Shala from LDK, Slavko Simic from the Serbian List and Emilja Rexhepi from the multiethnic group.
