In a meeting with UAMD students, SPAK head Altin Dumani emphasized that the fight against corruption is not only the responsibility of SPAK, but should be a battle of all institutions and, without a doubt, of society itself. He recalled that, although SPAK is a relatively new institution, today it is fully functioning and has managed to produce tangible results.

In front of the lecturers and students, Dumani also focused on the challenges of the first years of the institution, but underlined that despite the problems, SPAK has managed to build a new standard in the fight against corruption and organized crime. He emphasized that at the end of his mandate, he feels satisfied with the work done, recalling that SPAK has filed charges against persons of significant political weight - from mayors and deputies, to ministers.

According to Dumani, it is particularly significant that for about 50% of the people accused by SPAK, the courts have issued decisions, which shows that the institution's work is also supported by the judicial system.

Altin Dumani, who next week will hand over his duties to Klodian Brahos – the new head of SPAK for the next three years – was invited to a conversation with UAMD students on the topic "Fight against corruption".
