Journalist Ferdinand Dervishi commented on the escape of detainee Altin Ndoci from Durrës hospital during a medical visit a few days ago, describing the event as a serious failure of the state and a well-organized operation by organized crime.

According to Dervishi, the main responsibility falls on the state institutions that had the legal obligation to protect the detainee. “The escape was organized. The problem is with the state that is responsible for protecting that person and it has not functioned at any step,” the journalist said. He also raised doubts about the reasons for sending Ndoc to the hospital, emphasizing that although he was said to be sick, he was seen running “like a healthy young man” during the escape.

Dervishi harshly criticized the procedures followed by the Directorate of Prisons, revealing that Ndoci was escorted without handcuffs. A key moment in the escape, according to him, was when the detainee asked to go to the bathroom and was escorted by a policeman and a policewoman. “A policewoman does not have the same physical form to face a man of that stature, and he easily overcame him,” he declared.

The journalist emphasized that the fact that Ndoci managed to leave the center of Durrës and disappear in an identified car raises serious questions about the organization and possible involvement of police structures. “This raises strong suspicions of an organized event,” he added.

Dervishi described Altin Ndoc as a hitman for the Çopjave group, which he said has built huge fortunes from cocaine trafficking in Europe, with values running into billions of euros. “They were willing to pay 2 million euros to kill one person and blow up an entire building. This is the cruelty of crime, it is terrorist,” he said, adding that Ndoc was one of the group’s most highly regarded executioners.

According to the journalist, the escape could not have been financed by Ndoci himself. “This person had no money. It would take a lot of monetary power for such an escape,” he said, raising concerns that his release could be linked to new eliminations. “Why was he released? Who’s next?” Dervishi asked.
