Kokaj said that he was not given first aid after the injuries he sustained. The activist stated that they have filed complaints and are awaiting an investigation by the AMP.

I was with the police from the very beginning, because one of the policemen took out the bottle of solution and tried to hit the protesters with the bottle.
We who were there at first were in very severe pain. Then the ambulance came and they took me out because there were two police officers, they didn't even give me first aid.

Two other activists were also there and had sustained injuries.
The moment when the police sprayed was the moment when we were trying to prevent the deputies from leaving. They did it without warning, because there were elderly people and pregnant women there. It was shameful that they were hit in the police cars. Hitaj denied it, but he was beaten.
