Interior Minister Besfort Lamallari has reacted after the operation conducted in Saranda, where police leaders and employees suspected of collaborating with criminal elements and abuse of office were arrested.

In his reaction, Lamallari stressed that there will be no place in the ranks of the State Police for anyone who becomes a party to lawbreakers or who betrays the trust of citizens. "I respectfully welcome the operation in Saranda, where the Police Supervision Agency and the State Police itself cooperated to arrest police leaders and employees who have become one with lawbreakers," the minister wrote.
