The 47th day of protests in front of the Prime Minister's Office building continued with strong accusations and direct demands for justice. In addition to calls for the removal of Edi Rama, from the improvised podium on the "Martyrs of the Nation" boulevard, attention has also shifted to former Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku.
One of the protesters has addressed a public and firm request to the Special Prosecution Office (SPAK) and members of Parliament, seeking clarification on whether there is an official letter for the arrest of the government's number two.
In his speech, the citizen openly called on Albanian lawmakers to bring to light any hidden or recorded document related to the legal fate of the Minister of Infrastructure and Energy.
"Another request for SPAK, we want to make it clear: is there a second request recorded in the Assembly for the arrest of Belinda Balluku? I also call on the deputies, if there is such a document, to make it public!" declared the protester from the boulevard.
After this statement, his call was followed by choruses of cheers from hundreds of citizens present in front of the Prime Minister's Office, who shouted in unison: "Arrest Balluk, arrest Balluk!".
