Prime Minister Edi Rama, while speaking about the dangers that Albania faces and risks remaining stagnant in terms of the EU integration process and economic developments, speaks of the country's ascent even higher.
In front of the socialist deputies, he underlined that with the developments that have occurred, 'leadership skills are being tested', while adding that the path towards the EU remains the most important one.
"It is a crossroads of worldview fogs and artificial winds that risk confusing us with our feet. Something that has happened before to other countries and other parties. Today our leadership skills are being tested, precisely when we need to climb even higher and when the difference between where we are and where we need to reach is now made by every detail every day, by the way we use the day."
It is even more difficult to climb higher today and if you look at the dynamics and nature of the challenges in the negotiation process, this becomes even more evident. Because every new step comes with a more complex challenge and for this more preparation and more strength are needed. The most important is Albania in the EU.
Today, February 26, we are closer to membership than we were on January 26. This is a fact because such is the speed with which we are moving thanks to the large volume of work we are doing together. At the end of January, we passed a series of laws in the Assembly…”, he said, among other things.
