After the continued attacks, China has reacted to the situation, stating that it is willing to mediate the conflict.

China said it is deeply concerned about the conflict on the border between Pakistan and Afghanistan.

The country's foreign ministry spokesman, Mao Ning, said during a press conference that China has mediated the conflict through its own channels.

She added that China is prepared to play a constructive role in calming the situation.
