Vehicle traffic has been suspended on the Qafë Thore - Theth road segment due to the high risk of avalanches, as a result of deteriorating weather conditions.
It is reported that the decision was made after a risk analysis and communication with the engineers of the road maintenance contractor.

Based on the risk analysis and after communication with the engineers of the road maintenance contractor and the Regional Road Administration, on the "Qafë Thore - Theth" road segment, due to the risk of avalanches as a result of deteriorating weather conditions, vehicle traffic will not be allowed, as the risk is high.
This road segment will be closed until further notice. For safety reasons, traffic will remain closed to all vehicles, including snowplows, as the area poses a high risk of crossing.
