The Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs has reacted to the detention of Albanian activist Baki Goxhaj by Israeli authorities during his participation in the "Sumud" flotilla.
In an official statement, the ministry announced that Goxhaj has been transferred to Israel and that his return to his homeland is expected.
The announcement emphasizes that the Embassy of the Republic of Albania in Tel Aviv is in constant contact with the Israeli authorities and is expected to hold a meeting with Goxhaj soon, with the aim of providing the necessary consular assistance.
