A meeting with the Department of Infrastructure is being held at the blue headquarters, where the leader of the Democrat Party, Sali Berisha, is also present.
At the start of the meeting, MP Oerd Bylykbashi stated that the Democrats have begun preparing the party's program for various fields, while also commenting on recent developments regarding the vote against lifting Belinda Balluku's immunity, following SPAK's request for her arrest.
He described it as proof that the prime minister is feeling that "the noose of justice is closing in," while calling Rama's government linked to organized crime and corruption.
"We are starting the preparation of the DP program for various points. What was concluded yesterday with shame in the Albanian Parliament is the peak of Rama's government, it is proof that Rama does not give up and will continue in the same line with theft and not only.
The refusal to lift Balluk's immunity is the culmination of a process where the noose of justice is heading towards Rama's throat.
Balluku is a model with no history of corruption because the charges against him are minor. He is a model who openly plunders public money. Only 11 crimes amount to 1.1 billion euros. It seems that it will deepen even further. Rama insists that Balluku is not accused of corruption but of violating equality in tenders.
"It was not for nothing that Rama chose Belinda, creating a figure as the deputy prime minister of corruption, while Agasi was of organized crime," he said.
