The Special Prosecution Office has new evidence against Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku, for tampering with evidence, as a result of her continuing duties as minister and deputy prime minister.

Journalist Klodiana Lala stated during the show "This Week" that in the Mandates Council, SPAK will use them as "an ace up its sleeve."

"By continuing his duty, Balluku can carry out tender procedures. We have the case of Beqaj who faced justice, there was an issue like sterilization, another criminal offense was discovered against him.

"In the conditions we are in, where Balluku continues in office, she has every opportunity to leave and to destroy the evidence. This issue is in the attention of SPAK, and it will have it as an ace up its sleeve in the Mandates Council because Mrs. Balluku's story seems to have just begun," said Lala.

Only if she resigns will the panorama of the entire confrontation between SPAK and the government change. In the conditions we are in, where the court has not yet made a decision, Balluku has every opportunity to both leave and destroy the evidence.

Despite there being a measure to prevent her from leaving, she has stayed until now.
