The head of the DP Parliamentary Group, Gazment Bardhi, has reacted regarding the meeting held today by the Socialists, where a decision regarding Belinda Balluku's immunity was expected, but no decision was made public.

In a post on social media, Bardhi writes that Prime Minister Rama wants to buy more time, due to the fact that he said that a position will be taken when he is familiar with the MPs' report.

Full post:

Two months of procrastination were not enough. Now he is asking for another two weeks for a report from his own deputies, for which he himself will give the order.

But what is there to analyze for so long?

There are 11 tenders worth 1.1 billion euros, signed by Belinda Balluku, with the order or knowledge of Edi Rama. Some are public projects that are now collapsing and blocking citizens everywhere in the country.

There are 16 pages of evidence proving the disgusting corruption of Edi Rama's government and senior administration.

There are enough wiretaps that prove mafia blackmail against witnesses in the process, through strongmen, dirty money, and pressure on the family.

So, why is Edi Rama trying to buy more time? Why is he attacking justice? Why is he obstructing justice?

Because it's no longer just about Belinda Balluku. Edi Rama is personally at stake. We have seen his role in deciding who wins the tenders in black and white in the SPAK anti-corruption file.

Unfortunately for Edi Rama, time does not change the facts. Postponement does not change responsibility. The longer the decision drags on, the clearer it becomes that the problem is not in drafting the majority report, but in Edi Rama's fear of losing power.

He has received the message very clearly: the Belinda Balluku case is a test for Albania in relation to the European Union. Integration is not measured by (anti) "revolutionary" speeches, but by acts that show that no one is above the law.

When the government drags on defending itself, citizens have no reason to wait.

Therefore, February 28, at 18:00 PM, is the day when the fear of power will once again confront the determination of citizens. It is the day of Albanians who love Albania like all of Europe.
