For the first time in history, Barcelona has announced that the club has recorded annual revenues exceeding 1 billion euros. According to the Blaugrana club, this financial record was mainly influenced by the increase in income generated by the stadium, despite the fact that during the season some matches were played at the “Johan Cruyff Stadium” and the “Olympic Stadium”, while in the return to the “Spotify Camp Nou” the capacity was limited to around 42 thousand spectators:

"This is a new record in terms of revenue, passing the 1 billion euro barrier for the first time ," reads the Barcelona statement.

The club stresses that the figure is particularly significant, as the budget for the season has been almost fully achieved, even though the initial plan was to start the season in a stadium with a capacity of more than 60 fans. Barcelona believes that these figures demonstrate the great financial potential of “Spotify Camp Nou”, once the stadium is fully operational.

This record was also influenced by the continued growth in revenue from sponsors, as well as record sales of the club's official products through its company BLM.
