Liverpool are in advanced talks to sign Bradley Barcola from Paris Saint-Germain for a fee expected to exceed £100 million, according to reports in English media today.

The French Ligue 1 club had valued the French striker at around £140m, but the total package of the deal is expected to be below that figure.

Final details have not yet been finalised, but the deal is expected to be worth a minimum of £100m, an amount that could increase through various bonuses.

The 23-year-old made 49 appearances last season, scoring 13 goals and registering seven assists. Barcola was part of Luis Enrique's side that secured a fifth consecutive league title, won the Champions League for the second year in a row and also lifted the French Super Cup.

However, always being a second choice for the Parisians is thought to have been the main reason why the French striker accepted the offer from English giants Liverpool. It is now expected how Andoni Iraola will be able to place him in his tactical lineup at “The Reds” Barcolan, with Liverpool's attack consisting of players with a lot of weight and quality.
