During his speech at the massive protest in front of the Prime Minister's Office building, a compatriot from the diaspora issued strong accusations against the 35-year-old political class, demanding the return of stolen wealth to the people, an end to corruption, and the protection of national identity.
The diaspora protester stressed that before the responsible politicians face justice, they must return all the misappropriated resources to the people:
"Before we put Rama and Berisha in prison, everything must be done to return the stolen wealth to the people! Our large presence here shows that we demand a free Albania! We want a free Albania where everyone is equal, where there is no extreme poverty and wealth, where there are no tender thieves who left us without hospitals, without roads, without tunnels and without bridges."
He further denounced what he described as a common strategy of politicians to divide the people and push them towards emigration, while praising the youth who are protesting:
"Let's stop having anti-Albanians who have been in power for 35 years, without stopping, and have divided us politically so that we hate each other! They are both dacoord, they are a policy that continues beyond our imagination, with one goal: to throw it at their own people! Today this new generation is not sold or bought, it resembles the old Arbëro generation, it resembles Skanderbeg."
"Well, this policy has covered our national hero with a sheet, they have removed his bust — this should not happen again! There is our identity, this is our flag and the legacy of our ancestors. We should no longer tolerate this class that pushed our people towards emigration, slandered their lives and made them unbearable. This is intentional and is a strategy that they have been following meticulously for 35 years!"
At the conclusion of his speech, he sounded an alarm about the risk of losing sovereignty and called for the unconditional defense of the homeland:
"They want to give Serbia a consulate in Shkodra because they want to give Serbian soldiers graves there! If we tolerate this political class, we should close our eyes when they wave the flag of Northern Epirus in the middle of our cities! If we continue this trend, Albania will die and have no future."
"We are here for our nation. Or we will remain like the Kurds, without a homeland and nowhere to go! Everything is resolved in this life, but not the homeland! God gave it to us, woe to anyone who touches it!"
